A 32 bit Windows XP system for me was the final good release of windows but, yes, I have Win10 64 bit, - it seems it is necessary these days.

I was surprised to see that the poll only works on a desktop browser but not on mobile...
Here's the screen I see in my Android phone.
No checkbox is available to make a choice.
Is this a known issue with the Forum's service?
In portrait mode I can't even see the percentages.

Mmmm pokes & peeks. I fondly remember making simple 2D games in the 80's on - first - My Commodore Vic 20 with tape drive. Then got a 1541 floppy drive. THEN got my Commodore 64 and woohoo!

Oh and I also played my fair share of games on that machine. Does anyone remember Jumpman, Jumpman Jr., Seamus, Ultima 2 or 3, Pengo, or Mr. Robot?

I use both 32 bit and 64 bit OS systems. When using office desktop I will only use the 32 bit version as the 64 bit version will not talk to the 32 bit databases common in most of the systems I integrate with. The primary system I integrate with is Sage Line 50 which only has a 32 bit ODBC driver. Microsooft themselves recommend the 32 bit version.

Will the 64 bit version of B4X work with 32 bit databases and or also will it work on a 32 bit Operating system?

There is no relation between the IDE CPU architecture and the Java CPU architecture. You will still be able to use Java 8 32 bit (Java 11 is only 64 bit) and create 32 bit applications.

The 64 bit IDE will not run on a 32 bit OS.

WOW! My brain did a somersault when I saw the code.
I upgraded to the Commodore 64 after the VIC-20 :).
For a long time I never had a tape recorder and I would spend the whole day coding, just to loose it all at when I wanted to do sometime new.
Lots of fun!!

The 32 bit IDE is limited to ~1.5gb of RAM (not including other processes). The actual usage in most cases is far from this limit, however it might become relevant when working on very large projects.

Yes pleeeease for 64bit…. my main project has 17 activities now and they still want more...
Quite often B4A gets a bit unresponsive, especially if I have a couple of designer windows open too.
