B4J Question Problems with alpha level

I have a pane on top of another, set Alpha Level to 1.0, have set background properties.drawable to white and can clearly see the underlying parts of the form... System is Windows 7
Maybe the same problem is, that it seems, that i dont get a real black font inside textfields. I usualyl work with light transparency of the background pane; on android i get a clear black, in b4j i get to much 'shade of gray'...
Should u use an extra css for real black and what exactly do i need?

I saw the image you sent me. This is the expected result. If you want a view to have a semi-transparent background then you can change the background color instead of the alpha level.

But i wanted a pane in clear white - how can i get this. It's my understanding, that a non transparent pane with color white is only white..
