C catyinwong Active Member Licensed User Longtime User Jul 26, 2019 #3 notification listener is not helpful because it doesn't read the whole conversation (i.e. excluding those which are sent out and those which are received when the WhatsApp is on) and for the encryption part I refer to decrypting the local backup of messages. DonManfred Expert Licensed User Longtime User Jul 26, 2019 #4 Whatsapp does not provide a Api. You can only use what is available. Here the notificationlistener. I never saw any code which accesses the local datastore-Database and decrypt anything. Upvote 0
