Round Corners in Windows 11, except for B4X

Yes, I'm really bored right now, so I noticed that the B4X IDEs are the only applications on Windows 11 that don't have rounded corners ???.
Even on very old applications this is applied.
Is there a special reason why this is not happen with B4X?

That's an interesting observation ! This is a total, and probably wrong, guess but the IDE is a WPF (.NET Windows Presentation Foundation) application and WPF draws its own controls and doesn't rely on the native controls so maybe it draws its own windows as well. Have you any other applications that you know are WPF to see if they look the same?

Just tried this programm with a WPF Frontend: Round Corners
Rohit-B-Kadam/Hex-Editor: It is use to display and search data of executable file (github.com)

Im at 22000.100
but so far the phenomenon only concerns B4X. i have already tested numerous other applications.

I am thinking is it because it is running as 32-bit instead of 64-bit?

Ops, I have forgotten Win 11 doesn’t support 32-bit applications.

Edit: Then my second guess is something to do with graphic settings or DirectX. Last time some cases Windows Aero was not supported but maybe that’s different case. ?

It's not officially released yet, I'm running the dev branch.

Me too. I can’t afford a new decent laptop that could run Windows 11. If you read the news, Windows 11 really has high requirements but some Youtubers proved the other way (it doesn’t need to have very high specs machine that meet the requirements, there are workaround to install Windows 11 on machine which doesn’t meet the minimum requirements)

Edit: Perhaps run it on a Raspberry Pi 4

A bit of out topic. Does anyone remember we used to type “WIN” in DOS Mode and editing the Autoexec.bat file to start the computer either in Windows or Dos mode? Some games must run in Dos mode.

I'm just afraid this 12 yo laptop of mine will die; I don't feel the need for a >Win7 at all.

When I bought it I made a very good choice, I think. 12 years ago:
8GB RAM
1TB HD
Intel i5
17"display <-------
Great price
(Samsung)
