iOS Question Running B4I via Virtualbox

I have Mac Snow Leopard running on my Linux Mint 17.3 via VirtualBox. I bought B4i and when I tried to run it by opening the B4iBuildServer.jar file I got: "The Java JAR file "B4IBuildServer.jar" could not be launched." Anyone have an idea what I have to do or is this a lost cause?

If memory serves me right, you need at least Mavericks to run a high enough version of XCode to run the server.

Thanks, but as long as I've gotten this far I'm going to give it a try. I found the answer to my question (I think)... I have to install the JDK first along with Xcode 7. I am in PA now and have very slow internet and the Xcode file will take forever so I am going to wait until Sunday when I am in a better internet location.
