If you can't remember to type "End Sub" or "End Select" or whatever, then there is a bigger problem at your house than what you are talking about.

B4A does a WONDERFUL job of bringing RAD Android programming to the masses. Try to focus on the positive rather than bashing the tremendous work that Erel has done. Try to focus on the FANTASTIC work that the community has provided in terms of libraries, classes, sample code and tutorials rather than expecting the IDE to do your work for you.

REALLY, if you are as experienced as you say you are, then you should be able to type a couple of extra lines without complaining.

I think Developers, programmers have been way too spoilt with the IDE doing stuff for you.

Feature requests are more than welcome and should be posted in the wishlist forum. There are many samples in the forums and in the two comprehensive guides: Basic4android (Basic for Android) - Android programming with Gui designer
