giga Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Jun 24, 2015 #1 I have been working on a project for the last week, I have 3 fxml files, after placing them in panes. Now I can't get any of the 3 fxmls to open. I get this error then this I am using Scene builder 2.0 Now here's the other CRAZY part it compiles in Debug, I can see the buttons, labels etc. But I can not modify them in the scene builder. Any ideas appreciated as always. Attachments upload_2015-6-23_22-5-19.png 26.8 KB · Views: 773 upload_2015-6-23_22-22-32.png 98.8 KB · Views: 751 Last edited: Jun 24, 2015

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Jun 24, 2015 #2 Are you able to open SceneBuilder and start a new layout? Can you upload one of the layout files? Upvote 0
giga Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Jun 25, 2015 #3 I believe I figured it out. I have a GridPane in each of the files. If I try to open the file through designer it fails. If I go to Scenebuilder straight and delete the GridPane then go back to B4J designer it will open again. I have uploaded 2 fxml test files 1 has the gridpane and the other does not. Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Jun 25, 2015 #4 There is no B4J designer. B4J just opens Scene Builder. It looks like a bug in Scene Builder. Last edited: Jun 25, 2015 Upvote 0

jmon Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Jun 25, 2015 #6 Really strange... I try importing it in a new file, it imports but all the controls are scaled to 0x0 and can't be scaled up. Also manually editing the fxml file didn't help... Upvote 0

giga Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Jun 25, 2015 #7 Thanks for checking, Erel said this may be a bug in scene builder. If you are "eventually" able to open it in scene builder and remove the grid pane it will work again. Last edited: Jun 25, 2015 Upvote 0
