F fernando gibert Member Licensed User Longtime User Dec 2, 2018 #1 After installing bxa in different machines under windows7 I noticed various errors ( id.e.) aapt.exe missing zipaling not found ... mainly I think the very problem comes because sdkmanager spends a lot of time to install * if you install "da capo" sdk tools 19.1 is installed and zipalign error dissapears ( selecting recommended ) * if you cancel the instalation after waiting more than 1 hour and the three dots remaining still .... then android-28.2 can be installed with dos command sdkmanager "platform-tools" "platforms;android-28" So compiling with bxa-bridge works .... probably avd manager doesn't work properly due to uncompleted sdk installation. My hope is to find an sdk installer with complete result. sdkmanager 3.30 acts the same way as 3.29

This is not the product name. It is B4A. Don't install anything. Download the 'ready to run' SDK. Set the path to the new folder and run your program. https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/99780/#content Upvote 0

F fernando gibert Member Licensed User Longtime User Dec 3, 2018 #3 Thanks Erel, I've reached to work with b4a bridge. Sorry about bxa / b4a denomination. Anyway my desire is to reach working with avd. I repeat installing sdk is frustating because it stops working and doesn't end. Upvote 0

I guess that it is a network issue on your side. 1. The preferred way to develop is with a real device. I wouldn't waste too much time with the emulator. If you don't have a real device then install one of the Android VM tools (search for genymotion). 2. You don't need to install Android 28 to get the emulator running. Upvote 0
