For some reason when I compile and run and my Android phone is connected by USB cable I am getting this pop up every time. Prior to today I have never seen this. Any idea how to stop it?
I had to do this for every one of my Android devices (copied from Google search).
Steps to Disable Play Protect:
Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap your profile icon at the top right.
Select Play Protect.
Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top right.
Toggle off "Scan apps with Play Protect".
Confirm by clicking "Turn off" in the prompt. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Important Notes:
Security Risk: Disabling Play Protect makes your device more vulnerable to malicious apps, as it will no longer scan for harmful software.
Alternative Method: You can also access these settings through the "[Files by Google" app under the 'Clean' section, according to a Google Community Video.
