Service Start At Boot

Hi folks,

how can 'Service Start At Boot' be implemented in code?

I like to have a checkbox where the user can enable/disable start @ boot

That is not possible. You have to check the setting in your service and if the user selected not to start the service just stop it.

There is a way around it, if it's important enough: in your main app, use your checkbox as mentioned, and save the results in a data file. Use a second app that always starts on boot up and checks this data file and then determines to also start your main app or not. But I don't know if you want to have second app or not.

You can use a second service in the same app.
