Android Question Setting Routes Proxy Problem

Hi,
i cant set the my proxy username and password when i try go to SDK Manager, then i get the followin error message: "error: java.io.IOException: Failed to authenticate with proxy"
I try user[email protected], http://user:[email protected], https://user:[email protected], all of this aggravates the error.

B4A Sdk Manager currently doesn't support password protected proxies.

It seems like it shouldn't be difficult to set the proxy username and password. If you are familiar with B4J, I can send you the source code and you can try it.

Find these lines:

SetSystemProperty("http.proxyHost", ProxyHost)
       SetSystemProperty("https.proxyHost", ProxyHost)
       SetSystemProperty("http.proxyPort", ProxyPort)
       SetSystemProperty("https.proxyPort", ProxyPort)

Add:

SetSystemProperty("http.proxyUser", "your username here");
SetSystemProperty("http.proxyPassword", "your password");
SetSystemProperty("https.proxyUser", "your username here");
SetSystemProperty("https.proxyPassword", "your password");

You will also need to set ProxyHost and ProxyPort which are usually set from the IDE.
