How to show notifications builder (NB6) when activity or application is close.

Two options:
- Push notifications.
- A service scheduled to start with StartServiceAt.

If you mean when the app is not open, then do as Erel states.
If you mean to show the notification when the app is closed then use the 'Activity_Pause' method to show the notification.
