Slow Compile & Run in Emulator

We are developing an application for the past 8 month.but when i compile & run the application,it take long to install compiled apk file in emulator or device.pls advise where it is problem,wheather in Software requirement or hardware requirement.

The Android emulator is pretty slow.
Try Tools - Clean Project and Tools - Delete unused files.
