    Hi there,
    I installed B4A V:5.02(1), had .NET Framework 4.0.

Did a Windows System Restore because of internet issues, still had issues so I re-installed my anti-virus program and internet is ok.
    I installed .NET Framework 4.5.2 and B4A V:5.02(1).

Now I cannot save new project or add Text file to existing project even after deleting the Objects folder.
    What to-do, what to-do?

Try running b4a as administrator (right click on the b4a icon and select Run as administrator). If that works, then right click on the b4a icon on your desktop and select Properties. Then select Run as administrator. That should fix the problem the easiest way.

I just checked on windows 8.1 and you need to click on the Advanced button under Properties to find the Run as administrator selection.

Thanks for the idea , but Run As Admin and Safe Mode makes no difference trying to Save, no hard drive activity trying to save the project.
    Error opening Designer:
    "Project folder not set.
You should first save the project".

    Here's hoping a windows install isn't needed.

Other users have encountered this issue. At least one user solved it by reinstalled .Net Framework.

I first installed B4A v:5.02 I was prompted to upgrade from .NET Framework 4.0 to 4.5. I decided to go all the way to 4.5.2 (problem!).
Now with v:4.5 everything works great.

Now getting prompt to update to Framework 4.5.2 but am reluctant , anyone else using that?

Most users use .Net 4.5.2. However if 4.5 works better on your computer then you should keep it.
