I have tried the second example - but it fails with the following error: Code: res\values\theme.xml:9: error: Error: No resource found that matches the given name: attr 'textColorError'. I have checked the manifest and it appears to have the required line as per the Library. I can't see why this is failing. To be honest, I've just discovered that you can create your own themes - every day is a school day as they say with B4A! Sooo much to learn! Thanks for any help! JMB PS I am on holiday in France and STILL coding! That's dedication!
