I suggest go to Advanced System Settings and allocate enough Virtual Memory. Clear your hard drive to reserve more disk space. Maybe use a more recent version of JDK can boost the performance. Make a test - restart the PC, assuming that now there will be more RAM available, try to compile a few times. Is it still that slow? Have you modified MaxRamForDex in the ini file?
