No.
I have several apps that can be considered questionable or maybe even offensive but nothing that can't be found on hundreds of other freely available apps on Google Play.
I do get some pretty 'interesting' emails from people and one app has been suspended by Google due to customer complaints.
But so far nobody has threatened to sue me, not that they would get very much.

Do you have a particular app to which you are referring?

I have one that are reading messages out loud when you are in the car and most probably if someting gets wrong and you are in public place others should hear all you private message content.
Or if you are using VoIP and you are in a call ... the persons you are talking to are hearing the message spoken by my service.

Being sued by 'Lawsuit Trolls' (lawyers who sue just to make a quick buck for a settlement) and Patent/Copyright Lawsuits are very common with many applications, including Text-To-Speech, but are carried out by larger companies or Law firms.
An individual suing because they were offended by someone using your app, or by using your app and claiming it caused some type of 'moral prejudice or damage' sounds fishy ....
Not being a lawyer, but generally making something that is not specifically designed to infringe (it's called infringement, not piracy or stealing) is almost impossible to be successful to sue and win over.
Though Text-To-Speech software is often sued over for infringement of patents ...

Without a legal document from a law firm, or specific claims made in a legal manner, it is hard to determine specifics.

This must be a joke, we all rot in hell.

Let him sue his ass off.

Not a chance he is going to win ....

With the little information we have, hookshy would most certainly win.
BUT, while it costs little to for a plaintiff to start a lawsuit, DEFENDING against one could be costly.
This is why many 'lawsuit trolls' with threaten to sue, then offer a settlement.

Well, it looks like hookshy is an "Active Member, from Romania".
So, if this person threatening him from somewhere outside Romania, then tell them to take their outrage fly to Romania, become a citizen, then file a lawsuit according to the laws of Romania.

It sure sounds like someone trying to make a quick buck....
