Take heart, after so many times thinking I had my code right only to find out the first time someone used it they found a crappy basic code error, I hear Google released an update of jelly bean with the people app having a bug where the date picker they used had no December. Probably just an array or loop counter error but this bug got to release. It has been fixed now but when I heard this some of my frustrations were released and gave me some encouragement to get coding again.
