Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Oct 15, 2019 #6 Developers shouldn't set targetSdkVersion to 29 for now. It will only be required next year. The restriction of starting activities while the app is in the background is not related to the targetSdkVersion value. It is always enforced on Android 10+. You can request the "draw over apps" as a workaround for this restriction: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/startactivity-from-service.108771/#post-682789 Upvote 0
