Android Question The Debugging Button is not available.

Just a simple problem but it puzzled me for a long time.
The debugging button keeps to be grey that l cannot press it, l wanna know how to solve it in order to debug.(The function compile&run is available.)
(The JDK and Android SDK had been configured correctly.)

It becomes enabled while your app is running in debug mode.

You are probably running your app in release mode. Change it to debug.

I have the same problem i'm trying to change to Release mode but the toolbar button is grey i can't see any way of changing it. When i press the run button it compiles the code but the debug button stays the same grey and inactive. I can't find much help on this and i'm probably missing something totally obvious i am a totally new user. I do have 30 years programming experience so i'm used to solving problems but this has me stumped, any help would be appreciated.

You should always start a new thread for your question.

If you want to debug your app then you need to change Release to Debug. The Debug menu will be enabled after you run the project.
