PLEASE NOTE: This is not linked to my previous bug issue, that code is being compiled using OpenJDK 19.

Hello Erel,
We has this issue previously but back then it was with OpenJDK 14.

When using JDK_V25.0.2 (which I have put together (folder wise) perfectly fine including JavaFX), B4J compiler always says Java Version: 8. Can B4J please be updated to recognise JDK_V25.0.2+ as the B4J config path clearly points to my JDK_V25.0.2 folder. All my project are working perfectly fine and have done so since about May this year whilst using the filepath to JDK_V25.0.2. However the B4J the compiler windows always says Java Version: 8.

Yes, I copied over the missing file from 19 to 25 to get code bundle working.

B4J Version: 10.70
Parsing code. (0.08s)
Java Version: 8
Building folders structure. (0.05s)
Running custom action. (0.04s)
Compiling code. (0.06s)

ObfuscatorMap.txt file created in Objects folder.
Compiling layouts code. (0.00s)
Organizing libraries. (0.00s)
Compiling generated Java code. (1.39s)
Building jar file. (0.28s)
Jar file created: C:\Users\Peter\Documents\B4X\B4X\B4X Forum Code - Wrappers\Image Converter\B4J\Objects\ImageConverter.jar
Running application. (0.10s)
Completed successfully.

Thank you...

You can force using the version you want with this
B4X:
#JavaCompilerPath: 21, C:\Java\jdk-21\bin\javac.exe
Of course modify to suite your version.
Anyway I agree that probably it would be better for B4X to stick to a JAVA LTS version to be able to update it for eventual Java bug and critical vulnerability.

Slightly off topic here (sorry), but did you find any issues or quirks when moving to OpenJDK 25? Which JDK did you move from?
I have an app with which I'm considering jumping from OpenJDK 17 to 25.

Thanks.

[I've already noted @xulihang's file.exists discovery]
