usb bluetooth dongle

Hi,
I have a 7 inch tablet running 2.3 version. It does not have in built Blauetooth. I had attached one external bluetooth dongle. How do i access the device ? do i have to download any drivers? or can i use the dongle functions thru b4a ?
kindly help me out. I had tested the dongle in my laptop and desktop both with windows os.

Does your device support external dongles? I think that if the device doesn't recognize the Bluetooth dongle then you probably won't be able to use it.

The tablet has to have the bluetooth support files and the Settings package must have the bluetooth settings in the wireless section. Not all manufacturers include the bluetooth items on their tablets. I suggest you contact them, or find a support forum for your tablet brand/model.

If device does not have usb host mode, wich probably not if it's older than 3.1, then you simply can't do it.
