Hi Guys,

I have a Wemos D1 mini and a NodeMCU ESP2866 boards, which I was planning to use as RX/TX for a remote controlled drone Quadcopter.
Since the speed of TX/RX is important, what would be the best protocol to use?
I don't require much data to be sent, as it can be sent i a 2 or 4 byte message… and I guess I only need one way comms.
Have any of you guys ever used this?

I've been through almost all comms related B4R ESP2866 threads, and, after reading an instructibles article, where the author started by using TCP and later changed to UDP precisely due to TX/RX speed and latency, My main doubt now is, which is to be set as Master, The TX or the RX, considering a single way comm?

If I set the RX as master, can I still send commands to it using my wi-fi network, thus either using my PC, my smartphone, or a diy TX?
