B4J Question Why do the controls not show properly on my RasberryPi?

I am using a raspberry pi running Debian GNU/Linux 7.0. I have installed Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_06-b23). My very basic app runs ok but the controls are messed up as can be seen below...

The app works perfectly when I run it on Win 8. Its just on the Raspi that it gives me this problem...

Anyone... ?

Not sure why it happens. Try to create a new project with a single button and see whether it happens too. Also try to change the MainForm background color.

it is an old thread but i started to experiment with raspberry pi (1GB version ) too ,and had the same problem
increase the memory allocation for the board and it will work
