Bug? Widget crashing

hi

with new version of b4a (3.5) every widget crash on creating (ConfigureHomeWidget). with v3.2beta everything is ok.

and home widget example from tutorial is not shown ok. no time and clicking on image does nothing and removing it gives me app err

and unfortunatelly i dont have v3.2

You should provide more info.
What error do you get exactly? Unfiltered log output etc.

Saying "I get an error" is not useful help to find out where your problem is.

No err. I am running directly on device not on emulator

Nothing logged? Have you tried putting some log messages in or toast messages to detect exactly where the error is occurring?

Tried with log msg but nothing. And widgets don't support msgbox, toast

Are you sure you run the 3.50 release version?

In the log tab if you disable the Filter you should see an error message if your widget crashes.

Msgbox, true, but Toast should work.

Yes release mode. Problem was with delay timer in my main activity. When i remove it no more crashing

But problem still remains.... Y widget is crashing when i have delay timer for calling service in main activity?

I don't see how this code causes the widget to crash.

There is a small mistake in your code. You should only initialize the timer when FirstTime is true.

If you like you can upload the project with the code that makes it crash and I'll test it.

me again if you will ever encounter that behavior maybe the problem is with your custom kernel. i had custom kernel on my real device and when i reinstalled stock kernel (almost) everything is fine
