Android Question Widget, intent, html

Hi,
I'm a newbie so this may be a simple/complex/impossible question.
I want a stand-alone easily configurable general purpose widget.
The size should be customizable.
It could either issue an intent every few minutes and read the result, or just receive an intent/broadcast (minimum customization of action/category/component).
To be general purpose it would need to be able to receive the data and display as html (can B4A do that?) including text formatting and/or images.

What do you mean with widget? Home screen widget?

You can show html with WebView, however it will not work with a home screen widget.
