I have a two part question..

Is there a way to hide/disable the start menu on windows?
Or have the app windows expand over the start menu?

trying to keep people from accessing the start menu when the app is running..

the full screen works ok, my screen rotates and I have to re adjust the size. the only issue I still have is that they can press the windows key and still bring up the start menu and navigate the computer.

any idea on this?

To switch off the Windows Key there are many different solutions, some of them are described here

Windows key is useful, but it can be annoying if you press it accidentally. You can disable it by editing your registry or using software.
