You do need to delete provision profiles that are tied to the revoked certificate. A simple solution is to delete all keys and start from scratch. There is no reason to hit ad-hoc limit.

2. Are you using push notifications in these apps? If not then you can use a single production-ad hoc certificate for all apps.
