Step 1: On your mobile device, make sure you have USB Debugging activated.
    - Go to "Settings".
    - Scroll down to the bottom and tap "About phone" or "About tablet",
    - Scroll down to the bottom of the "About phone" and locate the "Build Number" field.
    - Tap the Build number field seven times to enable Developer Options. Tap seven times and you'll see a countdown that reads "You are now 3 steps away from being a developer."
    - When you are done, you'll see the message "You are now a developer!".
    - Tap the Back button and you'll see the Developer options menu under System on your Settings screen.

Now, you can enable USB Debugging mode.
    - Go to Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging. Tap the USB Debugging checkbox.

Step 2: Plug the USB cable to your PC and mobile device

Step 3: Open B4A -> Compile and Run

I know this is old news, but nonetheless, I'm sure someone will find it useful. ;)
    Enjoy! :)

Yes. I used the bridge only the first few weeks after i buyed b4a in 2013...
Then i switched to USB-Debugging. I never used the bridge again....

Yep. For some reasons from Android 5+ WiFi bridge became some sort of "instable" in relation to show the logs (on my devices sometimes it works, often not).

True, I'm having the same issue with the "mini" user avatars (the ones you follow).
It happens on Chrome on both Win 10 and 8.

    1. Down loaded B4A bridge Android smart phone with hot spot used IP address. Tried to connect my app, no wireless connection. Does this mean need local network not hot spot?
    2. Down loaded USB debug and turned on, connected USB, compiled and run, result error no device found.
    3. Tried launching emulator, emulator runs but blank.
    Seems simple, not so!!!
