When I tried to send the apk for a new App to the Google Play Console, I was offered to use the signature generated and managed by Google.

So it was only accepted in this method using the "debug key".

Did I get it right?

Is another key generated and will it be okay to use debug key in this case?

I am currently doing or is it still not allowed to send the debug key also to this method?

Generally it is not recommended to use the Debug Key, i always thought Google Play would not allow you to use it either way.
