    Hi,
Hope it is not too late for this wish for 8.3 release. Any possibility to add a date picker library in 8.3 instead of using the ones available on the forum (even though they are working fine in my app).

    i.e., https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/b4x-xui-anotherdatepicker.85160/
    as part of release

In case if it is already added or is already available in previous (i am using 8.00) then do let me know where can i find it.

I am currently using AnotherDatePicker (https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/t...epicker-a-simple-web-style-date-picker.27548/) and is working like a charm.

    Cheers :)

I don't understand the request. What is the problem with the existing pickers?

There is no problem. It is just that having a date picker is one of the basic requirement for most android applications, so i thought i would request that as a wish for upcoming 8.3.

Just like in 7.x version xCustomListView was not part of Internal Libraries but in 8.0 you added it to the package and gets installed by default.

    Thanks.

I see. Note that it is very simple to create a library out of this class.

Create a new project, add the class and the required libraries.
    Add to main module:
    Code:
    #LibraryName: AnotherDatePicker
    Click Alt + 5

And you will have a new library. You will however need to add the layout file when you use this library.

    Thanks for understanding :)

That I understand as have made a couple libs myself.

That can be avoided if it can be added as a custom view.

Anyhow, you are the Boss, so it is your call. I just wish, if could happen.

AnotherDatePicker is already a custom view.
