Android Question B4A bridge v2.62

Hello again all.
I am having trouble connecting to B4A bridge v2.62. on both Galaxy note phone and tab 6 galaxy tablet, two different IP addresses.
I get an error message "ping failed most likely the IP address is incorrect."!
Can anyone please give me some advice on this problem. It would be greatly appreciated.

I would check firewall in such case.

I can't tell you why you are having an issue, but I had similar problems on a different phone and tablet. It was recommended that I try B4A-Bridge Plus. It allowed me to connect. So I have both programs downloaded and try to connect with B4A-Bridge first, but use B4A-Bridge Plus as "plan B".

maybe antivirus? I had such problem with my Norton, it's has own firewall and you have to setup a rule for bridge

The ping check has nothing to do with B4A-Bridge.

If your device doesn't respond to the ping then there is a network problem (or the ip address is wrong).
