GPJMA Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 1, 2020 #1 Hi guys. returning from a long break away from B4A so have lost touch. I just loaded the latest version and also the APK and resources etc. When I start a new project and name it the program opens with the "hello world" code in place. If I remove that code to give me a blank project and try to save it, the program stops responding and I have to shut down the computer. Even trying to save it without removing any code the same thing happens. The paths are configured and all that seems to be ok. Having been a fairly active user for a few years I feel that have done it all as it should be but being an old guy you never know. If I could get some advice on this I would be grateful. It would be great to get back into this again. Many thanks all.

Click to expand... What exactly are you seeing at that point? Can you post a screenshot? Are you using B4A v10.2? Upvote 0

Use a common folder or a drive directly. Start B4A (just for a test) with admin rights. Does it work then? Upvote 0

GPJMA Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 1, 2020 #4 Hi. saving to a folder on an SD card that I load existing programs from. Admin rights makes no difference, also there is no message requesting Admin rights when trying to save. Thanks for your reply. Upvote 0
