Using B4A 2.0. I have a program that I have developed and it installs and runs fine on several devices (droid, droid bionic and 7" tablet). If I use it fairly regularly everything is fine. If I don't use it for several days, it will throw an error saying the program is not installed on my device when I try to run it again. The icon will still be there and as far as I can tell, the files are too. I use a database to store data and if I reinstall the app after getting that error, all my data is intact.
This seems to happen on all the devices. Hard to say for sure but it seems to happen if I don't access it for about 5 days but it is not consistent as I have had it persist for over a month at least once.
I have been testing on a droid, droid-x, droid bionic and a 7" tablet. On further thinking through it, the droid bionic is the only one that drops the app so it is very likely the phone and not anything to do with B4A.
Hi
I have not experienced the problem, on my own devices, but 2 of my costumers has complaint, that one of my apps disappears after reboot.
One of them is using a Sony Ericsson SK17i and the other some sort of Droid. Both of them are from France.
I cannot figure out why.
It is only these 2 out of almost 500,000 installs and I therefore hope, that it is their devices, which is the problem.
