Android Question B4A with Windows 11

I replaced my broken Windows 10 laptop with a new one running Windows 11.
Additional libraries were also lost.
I'm trying to debug my app in B4A and I get the message:
[IDE message - 1:46:29]
The following libraries are missing:
asstepseekbar
externalstorage
googlemaps
minihtmlparser
scrollview2d
clvtree
Installed the missing libraries in the C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\B4A\AddLibraries folder:
ASStepSeekBar.b4xlib
CLVTree.b4xlib
ExternalStorage.b4xlib
GoogleMaps.jar
GoogleMaps.xml
MiniHtmlParser.b4xlib
ScrollView2D.jar
ScrollView2D.xml
I don't find these libraries in the Libraries Manager tab.
Please help.

Thank you, but you didn't answer my question.

I did as shown in your link in post #8
From what i see in post #1 it seems not being the case.
You should create the AdditionalLibraries folder somewhere.
And in that folder you should have one folder for each platform and a B4X folder.
The platform specific libraries must be copied into the platform folder and all b4xlib libraries and all multi-platform libraries into the B4X folder.
For example ScrollView2D.jar and ScrollView2D.xml must be in the \AdditionalLibraries\B4A folder.
And ASStepSeekBar.b4xlib, CLVTree.b4xlib and ExternalStorage.b4xlib must be in the \AdditionalLibraries\B4X folder.

Yes, you're right. I was wondering if this placement of additional libraries was acceptable because they weren't visible. But then, for some reason, they appeared. Now I have one question left: should I leave it as is or create one folder for each platform and a B4X folder? I don't plan on using anything but B4A.

Even if you use only B4A you must have at least.
So?
C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\B4A\AddLibraries\B4A
C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\B4A\AddLibraries\B4X

Check Tools → Configure Paths in B4A and confirm the additional libraries folder is correct. Restart the IDE and refresh the Libraries tab. If the libraries still don't appear, verify the files are in the correct folder, not inside subfolders, and are compatible with your B4A version.

I would not put it in C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\B4A\
but somewhere else.
I would not recommend the C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\B4A\AddLibraries location for the following reasons:

  1. Writing to that location is only possible with administrator privileges, and you may always run into certain restrictions because changes in that environment can be considered abuse and thus blocked.

  2. Be aware that "refreshing" a Windows environment deletes all directories of non-Windows programs.

  3. Be aware that during a restore of the Windows environment, your data in the C:\Program Files\Anywhere Software\B4A\AddLibraries directories will also be gone.

  4. If you create a safety backup of your program, it is more convenient to place your program source software and the libraries in a separate directory . A complete backup of both your source code and the additional libraries makes restoring on a new Windows environment simpler on a drive other than the C: drive, so that during a recovery or a new installation on the C: disk, your program source code and libraries remain available.
