Basic4Android Start Error on Win 7 Enterprise 32 bit

I get this error when I try to run Basic4Android on Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit. When I try to start the application, an error pops up and the program won't start. Checking online for a solution does nothing. The only other option available is to close the program.

Any help resolving this appreciated, as conceptually this appears like the application I need, given my several years experience with Visual Basic. I've found coming to terms with the Java - Eclipse development environment, quite a time consuming learning curve.

Seems like a problem in .Net Framework installation. Try to install .Net Framework 4.0: Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center

I already had .NET Framework 4 installed, so I did a repair on it, however that did not resolve the problem. I found this other information about the program fault via the program properties "Troubleshoot compatibility" option, as per below.

Many users run Basic4android on Windows 7 (and 8). I'm sorry but I do not know why you encounter this issue.

Have you tried to reinstall .Net Framework?

Same issue for me, I updated all win 7 updates and still wont work...

What you guys can try is to COMPLETELY remove all versions of .NET, there are tools on the internet that wipe .NET off your system, then reinstall the ones you need.

For those with problems with Windows Vista and 7 32-bit go on file with right and selected properties, cancel block
