I'd like to avoid to ask my user to turn Bluetooth on to begin scanning to find a BLE device. Thank you

But is there a way to ask for permission to use Bluetooth (or BLE) by my app like the camera on Barcode scanner example? This would avoid me to ask the user to close the app and do it on the phone Settings. Upvote 0

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Sep 18, 2017 #4 No permission is required to use BLE. Handle the StateChanged event and if it is POWERED_OFF then show the settings app with: Code: App.OpenURL("App-Prefs:") Upvote 0
