Bug? Broken Designer?

When I go and try to preform an action in the designer, such as going to the abstract designer, it comes up with THIS error:
An error occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance
of an object.
HOW DO YOU FIX IT??????!!!!!!!

Nothing comes up in the log, most likley due to there being no code

Have you created a folder named c:\temp ?

How are you starting the IDE?

A file named log.txt will be created if you started it correctly.
