Android Question checkbox and radiobutton on old device not viewable

Hi,
when installing my app on my old Sony Xperia running 4.4 I noticed that it is very difficult to see checkboxes and radiobuttons because of very thin frames of the square / circle.
Does anybody know something about this problem ?

unfortunately there is no option to set the thikness of the frames ...

I just made a simple project with only setting the colors of the two panels.
On the Xperia you nearly can't see where to click.

Don't waste too much efforts on Android 4- devices. These are very old and rare devices.
