It is good to have some option to comment on several lines without having to comment all of them.

But I do not think it's appropriate.

You can also use:

B4X:
#Region Comments

It is necessary to type too much.
It is very uncomfortable, much worse than #if

You're right, the lines still need a single starting quote each. I suggested it because that's how I do, it shows up in the modules list and can be minimized, as well as have a more detailed title.

Tou can just write whatever you need/want and the use the block comment feature right from the IDE menu bar! It automatically adds the comment symbol to all selected lines
