Am I the only one who struggles to find libraries? Is it not possible to have a repository somewhere? Or is there one?

So often time is wasted trying to find the a library. And when I do find it, I am not sure that it is the latest version, because there maybe another one out there deep in the comments.

If we only had a central place where we know we can find all of them, it would make such a huge difference.

Today I have been searching for the IME library. Which I've used in the past so it must be out there. Obviously I searched for "IME library". You try it and see where it gets you.

I should be able to find it on my own but I can't.
If someone could please send me the link, I would appreciate that.

Yes
You can find all libraries using the searchengine.
There exists an excelfile somewhere in the forum which has a list of all libraries and get updated from time to time. You need to use the forumsearch to find it.
Today I have been searching for the IME library.
Enter IME into the search
https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/pages/results/?query=ime
The very 1st link points to the documentation
https://www.b4x.com/android/help/ime.html
the htmlfilename is the library name.

IME is an internal library and already installed when installing B4A. So you should start entering IME into the libraries tab to check if you already have it... Start searching for it if you have no such library in the library tab. Usually this only happens for additional libraries.

I must admit I was somewhat lost on the IME one too. In the first link, it points to the library, which download points back to the first post (The library is available here: http://www.b4x.com/forum/addi...4834-ime-library-soft-keyboard.html#post84114), which points to the library, which download points back to the first post, etc... :)

The above link should maybe better be removed and just saying it is an internal lib.

But overall, DonManfred is right, the search engine is really good in finding stuff.

Wasn't aware of the B4Xgoodies tool. Thanks for the tip, I'll bookmark this one.

Yes, this is where you can find all the libraries.

And the B4Xgoodies tool is an amazing collection of links, it's like finding a treasure trove!!

So do you not think it would be of value to have even something like @walt61 has created but online?
Just going through a list like this would be so inspiring for ideas on it's own, but also the go to place for what you need.

There are obviously hundreds of libraries out there that I have never even dreamed of.
