Projects are made of many files which can be located at many different folders. This is especially true since the ability to reference modules (which is a very useful feature).
You can always export the project as zip and unpack it in a different folder.

Just renaming the main project file (Save As) will not be very helpful.

This answer is not addressed to my first post, is it?

Are you suggesting to remove that feature? :D
Did I write that?

Automatic backups are among the "newest" features of b4(x)!
Not sure what that has to do with adding a keyboard shortcut for a menu action that the new feature renders even less often used.

However, shortcuts are always very comfortable.
Never say never (or always). For infrequently used actions, remembering the shortcut key can be more effort than is saved.

Microsoft spend millions on UI ergonomics, they went with:

on the other hand, LibreOffice has:

so perhaps you are on to something ✌

It it not strictly related, I "reacted" to your post:
How many Save-As's do you do?!?!
Just to say that backups are important and even if I don't do many "save as" for layouts, I happened to have to do more than one during a "session" (by pure chance just when I then posted that request :))

Nobody forces "you" to use shortcuts, if you don't remember what they are!
Valid point. But simplicity has virtues too.

An early Macintosh user interface philosophy was that there should be just one way of doing a task. Same keep-it-simple philosophy is why Macintosh mouse only had one button. Sometimes I am sad that that simplicity was lost in the Feature Wars.

Anyway, between your Italian flair for persuasion and my LibreOffice fandom, I'm now on your Ctrl+Shift+Side ✌
