Android Question Download file problem

Dear Erel,

I have tested the LargeFileDownload sample upoaded by you. It works fine but I do not known why it just download the previous version of the file

I do not change any thing in your sample just the link below

Private link1 As String = "http://myserver/Autoupdate/dsm.apk"

if I uploaded the dsm.apk version 2 to myserver then it download the version 1
if I uploaded the dsm.apk version 3 to myserver then it download the version 2

I take one day for searching in forum but can not solve this.

The file is not cached locally. The problem is in your server.

I have checked myserver. It is strange that even after I changed the AutoUpdate folder name to AutoUpdate1 the LargeFileDownload Application in my Samsung Galaxy still download the file successfully with a physical file saved to DirDefaultExternal folder (but if I test using laptop browser it failed because the url path is not exists). Very confused !

Are you checking that Job.Success is True in JobDone?

I even exit the application ==> run again, change the folder name in server (Autoupdate to Autoupdate1) it still can download normally. Very strange ! There is a ghost in my Phone !

HttpClient doesn't cache anything. The cached file is somewhere else. Maybe in the 3g connection?

Many thanks Erel, you are right. I just change to test via 3G connection it run well. I was tested with wifi connection, so the cached maybe in wifi router configuration.
