Android Question Endless questions about the Designer

I would avoid using percentages once and for all.

I tested this simple layout on the Cloud.
In the script I have only AutoScaleAll.

Disproportions are very evident. The Button is too big (or to small on Galaxy)

Do you want to zoom in all views and have the same layout to all screensize?

I think the best solution is to use % in you designer script.

Would be nice to have such an option to zoom all views on all screensize like you see it in your designer.

I know, but I have misured and calculeted the proportions in percentage:

not sure but as i understand from erel's post you should compare two screenshots at their real size
in above shots the galaxy is 10" and i9000 is 4" so it's usual because you are scaled out the left side shot

There is no reason for the proportions to be the same

Not exactly the same, but not even so different!

You suggest to use the Designer, its Anchors and do some adjustment using the scripts.

Games graphics are not relevant to the designer layouts.

However as this is about the 10th thread that Luca is creating about the exact same topic, I will not answer in this thread any more.

You're right, don't answer. There are 10h thread like this from me and 100h questions about this from 10h members.
But I can say the Designer DOES NOT WORK AS EXPECTED.

I know perfecty the question of different ratio between different screens, but all developers (not me only) wanted to get a scaled (with minor diffences) their layouts. EVER.

I can stop this question, but, as the title... it is endless!

Could you add such a function?? To set all views to the same proportions ?
As I wrote I do not want to participate in this thread. If you (Ilan) like start a new thread with this question and I'll further explain.

BTW, I never seen any "serious" app (except of games) that stretches the layout to look with the same proportions on a phone and a tablet.
