B4J Question Example usage of jBluetooth

Hello,

I saw this thread jBluetooth. I am not famliar at all with Bluetooth in general. I usually only use it to cast my audio to other devices.

So I would like to ask the community, what can be done with Bluetooth and JavaFX?

• Can I setup a LAN network? i.e accessing remote files and directories //server/mydoc ?
• What is the limit number of connections, how many devices connected at once?
• Can I transfer files?
• How fast is the network, how fast is the ping?

Please suggest typical usage scenarios, as I have no idea what is the extent of Bluetooth

It is very similar to a TCP / IP socket to socket connection. You don't need the devices to be connected to the same network.

If the PC and the device are connected to the same network then a solution based on TCP/IP is probably more suitable.
