Probably in the latest version of B4J (right now I am using version 8.10, despite having 8.50).

However I would prefer more highlight, my eyesight is no longer what it was when I was... 59 years old


EDIT: yes, v. 8.10 doesn't have that feature, 8.50 does.

There is no reason to use an old version. Always use the latest version. It is also possible to make it more prominent by changing the CurrentStatement style in the theme file.

Maybe I remember wrong or I misunderstood but I seem to have read that it is not possible to directly run the jars generated by B4J 8.50. This was the reason (is, if you confirm it).

There isn't a single thing that you can do with B4J 8.10 and can't do in v8.50.

You are confusing a different thing that is not related to B4J version, but rather to the Java version.

Yes you can run them, provided you have Java 8 jre and jdk installed and selected in configure paths.

I forgot to write: B4J 8.10 + Java 8.

The java version has nothing to do with B4J version.

And tested right now... I can run the jar even with B4J 8.10 + java 8.

B4J v8.80 beta is just released.

Now I have to search what I had read!

I installed both Java 8 and 11 because B4i uses Java 8.

I have both installed as I have a lot of utility apps and don't want to have to package them every time I make a change, the new #JavaCompilerPath will be very useful.

B4J\Themes, .vssettings files, right? I don't see CurrentStatement there.

Search for Current Statement with a space.

it appears to be in the Dark and Vibrantlink settings.
