For those approaching the mobile world, you know how important (and stimulating) to find or create new views. We often go in search of some new idea that can freshen up their Apps.

Today I was asked to make a special tachometer, not round like any other, but with a particular shape.

I realized a XUI VIEW ... I would like to share the results ...

Frankly I do not know which App should be used. I was asked to do it.

The first version that did not contain the numbers (as in the image) around the Tachometer I made it in 20 minutes.

For the version that you see in POST#1, complete I have employed a little more than now.Why do you ask me that?

I'm sorry, it's a commissioned view. I also sold the code. It would not be correct to distribute it.

WhoIsShmoove created a version for himself of this RPM gauge to put in his K-Series motorcycles Dashboard app, the app connects to K-Series motorcycles via Bluetooth on your phone and a special Bluetooth adaptor for the bike.

I know the App I do not have motorcycles, I prefer walking on foot . It is probably destined for something similar

No, because I did not realize it. I used a trick. It would have been complicated to produce a formula for curved panels.

But always with the help of mathematical formulas and some trick ... you're done

Even mine, I wanted to take advantage of someone else who had a lighting

Very bad info to give to your customers: now they will want to pay for a new view a maximum of 20$ (60$/h)

"I worked about two hours to create this view".

This would have been a better answer

I asked you about the time it took to create simply because I'm now getting into XUI and was just curious to know.

20 minutes, wow I have a lot to learn when it comes to XUI.

It was difficult for me at the beginning, I made many failed attempts.
I did not understand the meaning of the variable XUI (which is normal in B4J and that you would do with jfx), then I saw some very simple examples and I understood.

The rest is the same as what you do in normal views.
