Hourglass

In a few applications, if there is a delay a spinning image appears, the equivalent of the Windows hourglass. Is this something we can instigate through B4A?

Yes. See ProgressDialogShow and ProgressDialogHide. Note that the message queue should be processed for the progress animation. You can call DoEvents if the program is busy inside a loop.
