Android Question How to add an Icon like the Holo theme [solved]

With the Holo theme, the app would show the app's icon in the top (menu) bar.
With the new Light or Dark theme, the icon is gone.
Is there a simple way to add it back to the Light or Dark themes?

The example works fine but I am getting a number of unusual (to me) errors if I just try to "add" this code to my existing app.
I think I would be better off rebuilding my app from your example rather than try to coherce my app to use the new features
Looks like something I need to do, this library has a number of nice features making the toolbar much more useful and interesting.
