Android Question INSTALL_FAILED_UID_CHANGED

Today I had to return to an earlier version of my B4A application, and now I cannot install it to the device. I get the INSTALL_FAILED_UID_CHANGED error. I have uninstalled the application from the device, renamed the application, created a new build configuration - all in vain. What else can be done?

Are you sure that it is not your antivirus software causing this problem (like the previous similar issues)?

Have you changed the package name?

I have checked the contents of the package using 7-Zip, and the file classes.dex isn't empty like was back then. Nevertheless, to be sure, I stopped the antivirus, tried again and got the same error.

I have renamed the package.

It is a device problem.

I have reset the device to factory settings, and it solved the problem.
